Standard Birth Doula Package

$1000

Perfect for families looking for comprehensive support during the birthing process, the Standard Birth Doula Package includes up to two prenatal visits where we’ll build a strong foundation for your birth experience.

From developing your birth plan to preparing you with pain management techniques, this package ensures you’re informed, confident, and ready.

I will be with you throughout labor, providing emotional and physical support, and one postnatal visit will allow us to check in on how you and baby are doing after delivery.

I am available to you via email, text and phone call throughout your pregnancy as a support system, resource and friend.

PRENATAL VISITS

During these visits, we’ll get to know each other and prepare for your labor and delivery, as well as breastfeeding. We’ll discuss your ideal birth experience, what to expect as your pregnancy progresses, and how to navigate labor, delivery, and any alternatives. I’ll support you in addressing concerns, preparing questions for your provider, and accessing my resource list of books and videos. My goal is to empower you to make informed choices, helping you feel confident and ready for your baby’s arrival.

We’ll also review exercises to prepare your body for childbirth and create a personalized plan to manage labor pains. I offer mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork practices to help you connect with your mind, body, and spirit. I can also guide you in perineal massage and pelvic floor exercises.

Together, we’ll build your hospital bag checklist and customize your birth plan.

LABOR & DELIVERY ACCOMPANIMENT

Starting at 38 weeks, I will be on call and ready to join you within an hour of you telling me labor has begun. I will join you during labor at an agreed-upon time, most likely when active labor begins, whether at the hospital, birth center, or your home. I’ll provide continuous emotional support and suggest non-medical pain relief, such as counterpressure, meditation, or position changes. I’m also certified in using a TENS unit*, which I can bring for you to use.

I’ll be there to advocate for your birth preferences, enhancing your voice without speaking for you. If plans change, I’ll help you navigate any adjustments.

After the birth, I’ll stay for about an hour to ensure everyone is settled, and I’m happy to provide additional support like lactation assistance if needed. When you’re ready, you can ask me to leave so your family can enjoy this special time alone.

*TENS Unit: A safe, drug-free tool that helps manage labor pain by sending mild electrical pulses into your back.

POSTNATAL VISIT

This visit allows me to check in on how you and baby are doing after birth. I bring nourishing food, provide a listening ear, lend a helping hand and do my best to “mother the mother”. I love to offer restorative yoga and somatic therapy in order to help your healing and adjustment to your new normal. I can offer resources for lactation and postpartum care if needed.

C-Section Package

$400-$800

Yes, you can have a doula if you're having a c-section! This package is tailored to meet your specific needs while providing the same level of support as the Standard Package.

Prenatal Visits (Up to 2)

During our visits, we’ll address your questions and concerns about the c-section process and work on your ideal birth plan. One benefit of a c-section is that you know when and how your baby will make his/her debut, so we will focus on creating your ideal atmosphere in the OR. This can include music, a clear drape, skin-to-skin and other options to make your birth more personal. We’ll also discuss how gentle cesareans* are becoming more widely accepted, offering more mother-baby bonding opportunities. If prenatal yoga or stress-reducing techniques such as breathwork and mindfulness would be helpful to you, this package is a great option.

Birth Support

If hospital regulations allow, I can be present in the OR for additional support during the surgery. If not, I’ll be there for you leading up to the procedure, ensuring you feel prepared and calm.

Postnatal Visit (Up to 1)

We’ll have one postnatal visit to check in on your recovery and offer any additional support for lactation, emotional well-being, or postpartum care.

*Gentle Cesarean: A birthing approach that aims to create a more natural, mother-focused experience during c-sections, promoting intimacy and bonding between mother and baby.

Late Pregnancy Package

$500

If you’re 36 weeks or later in your pregnancy, this package is designed to give you the support you need as quickly as possible.

Prenatal Visit

We’ll meet in person if there’s time, but if not, we’ll connect via Zoom or phone to go over your birth preferences and prepare for labor. Even with limited time, I’ll make sure you feel as ready as possible for the big day.

Labor & Delivery Support

I will be there with you during labor, just as in the Standard Package, to provide continuous emotional and physical support, regardless of how much time we’ve had to prepare together.

Postnatal Visit (Up to 1)

After the birth, I’ll check in with you and your baby, offering guidance on postpartum care and connecting you with any additional resources you may need.

*Please note that availability for this package may be limited, as I only take one client within a 4-week due date period to avoid overlaps in labor. If I’m available, I’d love to work with you!
